Service description

Csvshape is a browser-based CSV column profiling tool. It accepts CSV data through paste or file upload and returns a diagnostic report showing column types, blank counts, mismatched values, and row field count issues. The tool runs entirely in the user's browser and does not transmit any data to any server.

No data processing by us

Because the tool runs entirely client-side, we do not process, store, or have access to any data you paste or upload. No CSV data ever reaches our servers or any third party.

No warranties

This tool is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. The type detection and analysis performed by this tool are probabilistic and may not be accurate for all data. You should independently verify any findings before relying on them.

Limitation of liability

In no event shall the operators of Csvshape be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from or in connection with the use of this tool. The tool is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional data validation advice.

Prohibited uses

You may not use this tool to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code beyond normal browser execution.
• Knowingly upload data that contains malware or malicious code.
• Use the tool in a manner that exceeds the intended scope of normal, reasonable use.

Pricing

Csvshape is free. There is no paid tier, no subscription, and no account system. Every feature is available to every user on every visit. The tool runs entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded to any server.

Intellectual property

The Csvshape name, logo, and the visual design of this site are the property of the operator. The source code of the tool is available for inspection through normal browser developer tools; no license is granted for commercial redistribution of the tool as a whole.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

No legal entity has been registered for this product yet. Until the operator provides a company name, address, and jurisdiction, these terms are informational and do not constitute a binding legal agreement. The operator must supply the entity name, address, and jurisdiction before these terms bind anyone.
